Delaware North Sportservice’s team at Bank of America Stadium, home of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers, last week helped brighten spirits within the community by hosting a “Giving Thanks” event at  the stadium. Partnering with the Panthers and US Foods, the team welcomed families from the community to the stadium for a day of food and fun.

The annual event invites kids from a variety of local non-profits — including Big Brothers and Big Sisters and The Boys’ and Girls Club — to enjoy food, games, dancing and a chance to mix and mingle with Panthers players, the team’s mascot and cheerleading squad. Sportservice associates worked alongside Panthers players in the stadium’s concessions stands to serve a menu of game-day favorites that included chicken fingers, beef sliders, pretzels and nachos.

The Delaware North culinary team at Bank of America Stadium, led by Executive Chef John Morey, is joined by Carolina Panthers players to prepare and serve food during a “Giving Thanks” event.
