Exciting projects are in the works at Delaware North at Yellowstone!
Both the Yellowstone General Stores and the West Yellowstone hotels boast impressive sustainability practices, including extensive LED lighting retrofits, Made In USA products, and a Zero Waste campaign. Delaware North associates are working hard to provide a high-quality guest experience in Yellowstone, and also protect the region’s natural resources and decrease environmental impacts.
But while the hotels and general stores see hundreds to thousands of costumers daily, many are unaware about these environmental programs.
In an effort to educate and encourage guests to participate in sustainability programs, a local team of Delaware North associates are creating two new videos featuring sustainability practices people can easily take part in while visiting the general stores or staying at a hotel. The videos also feature scenes of all that the area has to offer, including hiking, biking, and fly fishing. These videos are set to play in the general stores and in the hotels.
The Yellowstone video team (including Online Reputation Manager Evan Tennant, Marketing Manager Shelby Budler, Creative Manager Kinsey White, Environmental Manager Justin Cook, and interns Jackson Drapp and Jessica Kay) spent long hours in the park to get the perfect shots, all while having a fun adventure.
The video crew poses with two of its youngest (and most adorable) actresses after filming a wildlife viewing scene.
We can’t wait to share the new videos with you! Check back in the next few weeks for the video release.
