Clean the World has a two-part mission. First, it collects, recycles and sanitizes soap and shampoo products discarded by the hospitality industry every day. Then, it distributes these hygiene products to impoverished people, preventing millions of deaths caused by hygiene-related illnesses every day.  Visit Clean the World to learn more about the program.

Since it joined Clean the World in 2012, Delaware North has recycled 30,087 bars of soap and 7,478 bottles for One Project hygiene kits. One Project hygiene kits include a bar of soap, bottled shampoo, bottled conditioner, bottled lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, disposable razor, wash cloth, and an inspirational note card.

Parks & Resorts is also providing additional staff training and communications through its partnership to increase the diversion of these materials from waste stream.
