Leap Day this year provided an extra opportunity to do something kind for someone else.  On February 29, The Gideon Putnam participated in Leap of Kindness Day by donating 1,500 bottles of Shampoo and Conditioner to Operation Adopt a Soldier.  Leap of Kindness Day was instituted by The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce to encourage businesses and individuals to use the extra day of Leap Year to show gratitude and thanks to those who have impacted our lives, and to do something that gives back to the community.  Pictured (L to R) are Rob Sgarlata, Director of Sales & Marketing for The Gideon Putnam; Cliff Seguin, Chairman of Operation Adopt a Soldier; and Robert Berrey, General Manager of The Gideon Putnam.
