Delaware North Parks and Resorts’ Creekside Restaurant, at Kalaloch Lodge in Olympic National Park, is recognized with the 2015 NPS Environmental Achievement Award.

In 2014, Delaware North worked with the Green Restaurant Association (GRA) to achieve their Green Dine Certification. On May 19, 2014, Creekside Restaurant attained recognition as a Three Star Certified Green Restaurant by the GRA. Furthermore, the restaurant exceeded the minimum certification requirement by 26.9 GreenPoints. Environmental initiatives to attain this certification included purchasing Energy Star appliances, sourcing local/sustainable food, water conservation, waste diversion (recycling/composting), environmentally preferable purchasing, and mitigating pollution and chemical use. Additionally, Delaware North installed 100% LED lighting in the Creekside Restaurant, retrofitted new energy efficient equipment in the kitchen, replaced individual condiment disposables with reusable bottles, and replaced plastic garnishing picks with bamboo.
