The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake offers guests an insider’s look at local agriculture, history and all things Ashtabula County with its famous educational programs.

In May, the Lodge launched two walking tours.

Geneva-on-the-Lake Walking Tours
MONDAYS | May 25 – September 7 | 10:00am – 11:45am
Hosted by local history buff Carl Feather, the Geneva-on-the-Lake is a two mile walking tour that highlights some of the Summer Fun Heritage Trail locations that tell the story of Geneva-on-the-Lake, known as Ohio’s first summer resort. Geneva-on-the-Lake was established in 1869 and has a surprising and interesting history. Visitors will learn about the riot of 1965, the founding families and the hidden gems of this popular summer resort community.
Nature Tours at The Lodge
TUESDAYS | May 26 – September 1 | 9:00am-11:00am
In partnership with Geneva State Park trails and the Lodge, the Nature Tour is guided by Charlie Leighner.  Charlie is a nature enthusiast and native to the Northeast Ohio region. He shares knowledge surrounding the local wildlife, including plants, animals, and insects. The tours are interactive, and guests are encouraged to share their nature knowledge as well.
