Montana State University Extension announced Delaware North at Yellowstone and West Yellowstone as one of 18 award winners for this year’s annual EcoStar Pollution Prevention Award.  Now in its fifteenth year, the award program recognizes Montana businesses that create more environmentally and economically sustainable business models through pollution prevention strategies.

“The winners include folks from the agricultural sector, healthcare, tourism, spas, breweries and others,” said Montana Governor Steve Bullock. “These Eco Star award winners serve as excellent models for Montanans and their businesses… On behalf of a grateful state for all that you do, congratulations on winning this year’s Eco Star award.”


Delaware North was acknowledged for their efforts to recycle 370,552 pounds of materials, conserve 8,800 gallons of water, save 553,630 kWh of electricity, and educational programs/events to guests and community members.
